My Speech

My speech topic is wild animals.

I chose this topic because it is very interesting.

When I presented my speech I felt a bit scared.

What I did well was eye contact.

What I could have done better was slow down.

My Speech

Speech Topic: Wild animals

Have you ever wondered why wild animals are dangerous? Well I have. You might be wondering what a wild animal is. A wild animal is an animal that lives in the wild, such as a forest and does not have an owner. They have to find their own food.

Wild animals are dangerous because they attack and hurt people, they spread horrible diseases and they eat smaller animals.

Firstly wild animals are dangerous because they can attack people because they feel threatened. Wild animals can attack people because the people hurt them and people destroy their territory where they live. Then they have to find a new home in the forest .

Secondly wild animals are dangerous because they spread diseases. Wild animals spread horrible diseases to other animals and people. These diseases make animals and people sick. They spread diseases like ringworm which can spread from one part of the body to another if not treated.

Finally wild animals are dangerous because they eat smaller animals. Wild animals are dangerous to smaller animals because they have to hunt for their own food so they eat the smaller animals. Like stoats eating kiwis and wild cats eating birds.

Now that is why I strongly believe wild animals are dangerous.  They can attack humans, spread diseases and eat smaller animals.
