E aha ana koe?

 We have been learning some te Reo.  The question we are learning is “E aha ana koe?” Which means “What are you doing?” We have been learning lots of verbs to use in these sentences.

Te Rehutai

This week we were excited to be learning a bit about Te Rehutai, the Team New Zealand AC 75 that has been sailing in the Waitemata Harbour.  Here is my information.

Peter Burling is the skipper for the AC75.

 The AC75 is  75 feet 22.8 metres wide.

 It Flies on foils.

 It has no keel.

Beam 5.4m wide.

Draft: 5m 16.5 ft

Americas Cup is the oldest sporting cup in the world.

 It can go 50 knots 92 km/h.
