Term two week 8 we had to weave a star with flax. It was hard but we did it. Here's my work .

Play, make, create

In Term 2 Week Five  we did Play Make Create. This is where the teacher reads you a story and you discuss the message in the story. Then you create something based on the message and also do a piece of writing. You can use materials or make a digital creation.  This week Mrs Craig Read the book  ‘Twig.” it is about a twig that does get noticed after they create him a scarf.. 

 I chose to make a house out of bark, rocks, wood, leaves and cardboard for an insect and a movie poster. Here's my work.

 

Autumn leaves

In Week 4,  we went on a hunt in the playground to see if we could find some autumn leaves. We looked for them on trees and on the ground. Then we came back to class and wrote about them using as many of our senses as we could. Here is my work:

 

Diamante poem

In Week 4, we learned how to write a Diamante poem. We could base it on any topic we wanted.   I chose to base mine on the sun and moon.  Here is my work.
