Because we were using ‘Insects’ as a topic this week for reading and writing we created some works of art based on insects also. We had to make them out of any materials we could find at home. I chose to use two old books, fabric and cellophane.

Wow Phoebe what a cool way to use old books and materials lying around your house. I really like your insect and how you have correctly given it 3 distinct body segments; head, thorax and abdomen along with 6 pipecleaner legs. The purple cellophane wings look really pretty.
